50TH BLOG POST SPECIAL! A POST TO EXPRESS GRATITUDE AND THANKFULNESS.

 

Humanity has transitioned from 'The Age of Reason' to 'The Age of Internet'. In an age where we can carve our identity on the internet at the click of a button, I was a 24 year old working lawyer stuck in lockdown, wondering what to read and what interesting things to watch. In such times, all you need is sharing and mutual recommendations.  Keeping that in mind, I began my journey towards becoming a blogger on 31/05/2020 when I wrote my first blog as a birthday gift to my father. And like anything great, it was not at all easy.  

I had a penchant for writing since school and even won some prizes for it, but lacked confidence as an adult to share it with the world. Today's blog is personal as it marks my 50th post.  I would like to thank everyone who primarily encouraged me to write blogs as a means of sharing my ideas and views with the world, and who thought that I had enough information and writing skills to do it, because come to think of it, plain knowledge without the ability to communicate it or effectively share it does not count for much. I also would like to thank the ones with whom I had massive disagreements over their analysis of my writing and the flow of my content. Thank you for taking time out from your busy schedule and giving my writing the amount of consideration it rightfully deserved and deserves. I owe gratitude to all those who lauded me for balancing work and blogs at the same time and who understood how difficult it can and could get. Everyone involved in the process made it and make it seem doable and easy. 

Many have asked me the rationale behind the nomenclature of my blog. Let me break it down: 

B: Books. 

F: Films. 

F: Food. 

I sought (and still seek) to bring out a new dimension to my blog by involving books, films and food and becoming a BFF (best friend forever) through my writing to as many people as I can and could reach. 

The blogs to come will definitely have more diverse content and cover a wider range of topics. I look forward to your presence in my journey towards many more blogs to come. A humble appeal to everyone reading to please share this blog with their family, friends, peers, colleagues, superiors and everyone interested in a good recommendation and good reviews. 

A debt is generally considered to be a liability, but I shall be forever grateful for the debt of your presence. Watch this space for more.
